The Westside Irrigating Company and the Kittitas Reclamation District have partnered on the formation of the Kittitas County Joint Control Board #1 which was approved by the Kittitas County Commissioners on November 17, 2020.  This partnership was formed to help with coordination and funding of projects that will be beneficial to both parties. The formation of this Joint Board will greatly enhance opportunities to fund projects that can improve water conservation, delivery, and quality. Each of the parties remains its own separate entity. Each party maintains its water right, employee, and controlling Board of Directors. The Joint Board is made up of two members from each existing Board. Any decision by the Joint Board must be approved by each other party's controlling Board of Directors.
